Art Changes Spaces,

and Spaces Change Us.

The contemplation of "how to live" and "who I am" is one of the important attitudes towards life that one must cultivate as they journey through life. This contemplation necessarily occurs through inner exploration, and to delve into that inner realm, one requires moments of voluntary silence and solitude. Here, voluntary solitude doesn't merely refer to being physically alone, but rather to a state of tranquility where one is not burdened by the weight of past emotions and does not carry yesterday's concerns into today. However, it is a reality that modern individuals find it challenging to practice such inner tranquility in their daily lives. Therefore, the author seeks to provide people with a stepping stone to embark on their inner journey by allowing them to briefly set aside the burdens of their hearts and find solace in the tranquility that can be felt within the silence depicted in the painting. The profound solitude of winter's nature, the resolute silence felt in the solitary figure walking towards the vast wilderness, all become companions of solitude within the journey of self-discovery for those seeking to understand themselves.

Art & Space

“Art changes spaces, and spaces change us.” These words have stayed with me. If spaces shape us, what shapes spaces? For me, the answer is art. Art is more than decoration or investment—it becomes the space itself. Spaces create experiences, and experiences shape us. That’s why the moments we have within them matter. Through my paintings, I hope to offer a quiet pause—an invitation to step away from the noise of life and turn inward. This is why I created Monoboat: to share those moments of solitude. My work may be simple, but if it leads you to your own silence, to a deeper part of yourself, then it has done its part.

I’ll be there, in that quiet, with you.
